Just two minutes after the clock struck midnight Auburn players were taking advantage of the new NIL rules which allow players to benefit off their name, image and likeness.
The first to announce was quarterback Bo Nix, who announced a partnership with Milo’s Tea Company. Nix was not only the first Auburn athlete, but the first athlete in the central time zone to announce a NIL deal.
