Update (7/29/21 – 6:27pm PT) – Jarrard has confirmed that the Halo Infinite technical preview is “SLOWLY rolling out now.”
“Ok, I can confirm the #HaloInfinite technical preview is SLOWLY rolling out now,” Jarrard wrote on Twitter. “Waypoint messages are going to take a bit and the site is definitely getting slammed. The build is available in the Xbox Insider Hub (console) and Steam (PC) for Halo Insiders who are invited.”
Jarrard also notes that players who run into an issue installing from the Xbox Insider Hub and it says “Update Required” and you are being told “no update is available”, just try to re-launch the Insider hub or “hard” reboot your console and try again.
He also says that players should expect a dedicated server error on you first few games, just keep at it and it “should sort itself out!”
