There were great local performances Friday night in what was the last week of nonleague play for many high school football teams.
Sierra Canyon (3-2) took down Norco (4-1) 35-21 at Calabasas High thanks to a balanced pass and run attack. Senior quarterback Daniel Duran finished with 247 yards passing and two touchdowns – both to wideout Dominic Arango-Serna.
Running back Jason Jones had 71 yards and a touchdown on the ground. Stanford-bound safety Kamari Ramsey recovered a Norco fumble and returned it 90 yards for a touchdown.
