UK customers who purchased physical copies of Far Cry 6 for PS4 are finding that they are unable to upgrade to PS5. As first reported by VGC, it appears that they were sent Russian copies of the game, leaving them unable to launch the game on their PS5.
Players affected by this error can only get the PS5 upgrade if they create a new profile, listing their region as Russia. Many are reluctant to do this however, as they will not be able to access any DLC purchased through their usual PlayStation account.
