OWENSBORO — Extra Life is a fundraiser raising money on behalf of Children’s Miracle Network Hospital, which has been around since the 1980s.
Maria Osment founded Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. Children’s Miracle Network Hospital is a charitable organization that works on behalf of over 100 hospitals in the United States and in Canada. The organization has raised over $1 million of money through various other organizations since 2008; one of them is Extra Life.
“Extra Life is like Relay for Life for nerds,” said participant Joseph Burke.
