The Xuan-Yuan Sword VII release date has been set by Softstar Entertainment, DOMO Studio and Yooreka Studio, confirming the game will launch on PS4 and PC on October 29. There’s also an Xbox One version in the pipeline, but a launch date has yet to be confirmed.

For those out of the loop, Xuan-Yuan Sword VII takes the form of a third-person RPG and features a narrative steeped heavily in Chinese history and mythology. Players assume the role of Taishi Zhao, a ‘calm and reliable swordsman’ who ends up caught in a tragic fate and must journey to chaotic realm to discover the truth.
Xian-Yuan Sword VII employs a real-time combat system and features smooth combos spread across attacks including Active Skills, Dodge, Block and Riposte. Meanwhile, players can wield Elysium Scrolls that are able to absorb monsters, create items and more.
