SAGINAW, MI — In less than a month, the first jury trials are resuming in Saginaw County since the courthouse was closed to the public in March due to the COVID-19 pandemic. But to maintain social distancing, the trials will move to a larger venue that typically hosts hockey games and concerts.
Come the second week of November, trials will take place within the Red Room of The Dow event center, 303 E. Johnson St., located across the Saginaw River from the courthouse at 111 S. Michigan Ave. News of the shifting locale broke in August, but now firmer plans are in place.
