The high school football schedule for this fall at Mobile’s Ladd-Peebles Stadium includes both quality and quantity.
“It’s a lot of games – the most games we’ve had at the stadium for quite some time – and there are some real good games,” said Vic Knight, executive director for the Mishkin Group, which runs the stadium. “It’s a really good schedule, and we’re looking forward to cranking it up at the end of August.”
There are 21 prep games scheduled at the Stadium, including a rare three Saturday afternoon games. Those games include the traditional Battle of Prichard between rivals Blount and Vigor. The Wolves and Leopards are scheduled to play at noon on Aug. 21, though Knight said there is talk the game could be pushed to later in the day.
