When watching the trailer for Spirit Roots, I noticed the main character held a sword very much like the classic Buster Sword from Final Fantasy VII. Why was that? In Spirit Roots, you reside on a planet known as the Stitched-Together Planet. As a war broke out on the edges of space, what was left of the two warring planets were fused together into one larger sphere.
