Six months after being pulled from sale, Cyberpunk 2077 finally returned to the PlayStation Store on Monday, but Sony has warned that purchasing the game for base PS4 consoles “is not recommended”.
A new warning on the game’s PlayStation Store page (pictured below) reads: “Users continue to experience performance issues with this game. Purchase for use on PS4 systems is not recommended. For the best Cyberpunk experience on PlayStation, play on PS4 Pro and PS5 systems.”
CD Projekt posted its own message noting that PS4 Pro and PS5 will provide “the best experience” for Cyberpunk, but it did not discourage play on base PS4 systems as in Sony’s message.
