An Elizabethtown business hopes to support shelter animals through a supply drive and fundraiser.
“One of the benefits to being an independently owned business is that we can bring a lot of our own personal interests into what we do here at Hard Knox,” said Wayne Milam, one of the owners of Hard Knox Games. “We’re all animal lovers and any time we can use our space to give something back to the community that supports us, we try to do just that.”
It’s a cause important to Milam and co-owner Chad Underdonk.
Hard Knox Games, at 5571 N. Dixie Highway in Elizabethtown, is collecting supplies for the Hardin County Animal Shelter. Needed supplies are pet food, cat litter, toys and every day use items such as paper towels, trash bags and cleaning supplies.
