The cult classic anime Legend of the Galactic Heroes will receive a mobile game adaptation, entitled Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue Saga. While there are also a series of light novels by the same title, this newly announced game is specifically seeking inspiration from the anime adaptation of those novels.
While details on the game are quite scarce right now, having only the official announcement and some very vague teaser images, we do know it will be based on the anime. The anime is a sprawling interstellar story set in the distant future where two interstellar states are at war with one another, the Galactic Empire and the Free Planets Alliance.
