
Slay the Spire is a great video game. Granted, a rogue-like deck builder doesn’t sound too appealing written down, but in practice, it’s a fantastic, addictive title that’s all about synergies, finding that golden combo of cards that allows you to flatten enemies. Throw in randomly generated elements and you have a game you can play countless times over. If you think this sounds better as a board game, you’re in luck: the title is being converted into a physical tabletop game.
Slay the Spire: The Board Game is in the works at Contention Games, a team that previously made Imperium: The Contention.
