Sony has rolled out a software update for both PlayStation 4 (PS4) and PlayStation 5 (PS5), which includes UI adjustments and some accessibility features. Alongside this, users within the United States and United Kingdom will be able to test voice commands with the PlayStation 5.
Additionally, Sony will add the ability to join open or closed PlayStation “parties” on consoles and through the PS App. The UI of the PS App has been updated to make it easier for users to locate the friends, parties, and messaging feature as well. A dark mode is also available. In February 2022, a PS App update further allowed for PlayStation 5 users in the U.S. to upload their gameplay and screenshots to their phones.
