One of the suspects in last month’s shooting at Ladd-Peebles Stadium during a high school football game remains at large.
On Wednesday, Central Alabama CrimeStoppers announced a reward for information leading to the arrest of Hezekiah Kaniel Belfon, the teen wanted on five counts of attempted murder in connection with the shooting.
Belfon, 19, also known as “Chop,” should be considered armed and dangerous, Mobile Police Chief Paul Prine earlier told AL.com.
“As far as I’m concerned, he is armed and dangerous,” Prine said. “He shot into a crowd and he was armed when he left the location, and we have not arrested him. So at this stage in the game, yes, he is considered armed and dangerous.”
Five people were injured in the incident, which took place during Vigor High School’s homecoming game against Williamson.
