When it comes to video games, the last thing any developer or publisher wants to see is a player quitting out from their title. Aside from the likely negative experience that this player had in order to exit, it also means something worse for the creators: a drop in revenue.
If more and more people quit the game, the less likely it will be to sell expansions and sequels down the line, so above all else, it’s what developers try to avoid at all costs.
