Allegheny County is postponing some second dose COVID-19 vaccine appointments until they get more supply, officials announced on Friday. Allegheny County is citing a combination of bad weather and the shortage of Moderna vaccine as the issue. They typically get a notification on Fridays that their doses are on the way and they did not get that notification today. The county also announced that no first dose clinics with vaccine administered or provided by the Allegheny County Health Department will be scheduled for next week.
