
The head of the Arkane Lyon, Romuald Capron, has departed from the company after almost 17 years.
Arkane Lyon is the same Bethesda developer behind the recent PlayStation 5 and PC release, Deathloop. Capron joined as a COO and production director in 2005 and was appointed as the studio head in 2019.
According to VGC, he broke the news via LinkedIn – revealing how he’d made a “very hard decision” to leave. He wants to try “something new” in the same line of work and spend more time with family.
“I’m very proud of what we accomplished with this amazing team. The successful launch of Deathloop is just another proof that Arkane has a very bright future and unique place in our industry.
