There are only two games on this weekend’s college football slate pitting ranked teams against one another, and both are in the SEC. But there will be plenty of insights to glean around the country on Saturday, especially in the Big 12, where the league’s only three ranked teams have plenty to prove. No. 9 Texas and No. 18 Oklahoma face critical conference battles against TCU and Iowa State, respectively, before playing each other in the all-important Red River Rivalry next week. Meanwhile, No. 17 Oklahoma State will have a perfect opportunity to get its much-hyped offense on track in a game at lowly Kansas.
