Coral Glades boys basketball had an impressive start to the season, playing in a Thanksgiving Day tournament in Washington.
Not only were the Jaguars able to pick up their first win of the season, but Stefan Whittingham recorded his first win as head coach. A 2010 graduate of Fort Lauderdale High School, Whittingham played college basketball and most recently coached at Fort Lauderdale High School.
Whittingham calls the first win amazing and can’t say enough about the support he received since taking over.
“From Dr. Kaplan all the way to the community, we have had nothing but love from everyone, and it means the world to us,” said Whittingham. “Words cannot describe how much the win meant to our group.”
