Manchester United interim manager Ralf Rangnick has hinted that Cristiano Ronaldo may still play an active role as the club tries to bounce back this season.
At 36 years old, Cristiano Ronaldo has been one of the most active players in the current Manchester United team. Since making his sterling return to Old Trafford in August, the Portuguese striker has started in 11 the club’s 13 league games and also played in five UEFA Champions League group stage matches.
The Red Devils still need to win several important matches this season and according to club boss Ralf Rangnick, there’s a great chance Manchester United will continue to rely on Ronaldo and his winning mentality.
“I don’t know,” Rangnick said about the idea of resting Ronaldo via Manchester Evening News. “So far, I’m happy with his body language, his input on the team.”
