Publisher Serenity Forge and developer Team Salvato have announced that Doki Doki Literature Club Plus! is set to release later this month on June 30 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.
Doki Doki Literature Club almost became an instant classic back when it initially released in 2017. The game comes across unassuming as you join a literature club in search of a romantic interest. However, things don’t exactly go to plan, and you’ll later discover that this quaint visual novel is actually a psychological horror experience. We’ll leave it there, as this is undoubtedly one of those games you want to go in knowing as little as possible, but the twists and turns will have you hooked and even unnerved at times.
