Nintendo has had many mobile releases in the last few years since allowing its IPs on phones, but Fire Emblem Heroes is its best one so far.
It has been several years since Nintendo‘s characters debuted on iOS and Android devices. Once an impossible notion, Nintendo has reached beyond its ecosystem of video game consoles to reach a larger audience. However, some of Nintendo’s games transfer better to a mobile marketplace than others. Super Mario Run tripped up when Nintendo put the full experience behind a paywall. Mario Kart Tour initially stalled out at the starting line when the game was overly monetized. Animal Crossing Pocket Camp was overshadowed by its Nintendo Switch counterpart. Dr. Mario World could not cure its lack of exciting content and is meeting a fatal end.
