
During the pandemic, the public was encouraged to avoid large gatherings and high traffic areas as a way to limit the spread of the coronavirus before the vaccine rollout. And people admittedly were getting a bit stir crazy.
Enter the Party Trailer.
In 2017, owner Josh Holston transformed a 14-foot covered trailer into a mobile arcade, featuring popular games from the 1980s and 1990s. Holston, who previously worked for a local gaming company repairing arcade games before starting this venture, said it was something he saw was a need more than a decade ago.
“People were renting games and I was dropping them off in their garages when I worked for that family company,” Holston said. “But I was thinking to myself then, ‘Why don’t we just keep the games in the truck and then drop it off?'”
