Playstation owned Aniplex announced that it will acquire the game development department of Delight Works, and will be included in the new company in the spring of 2022. Delight Works will first separate the game division into a completely new company, and then Aniplex has acquire the new company and converted it into a separate new subsidiary. The new company is expected to continue to develop the mobile game The Fate Grand Order, and the game production committee will be changed to Aniplex.

The name of this new company will be announced soon and will be the successor of Delight Works business in the video game industry. According to analyst Daniel Ahmads’ Twitter account, Sony Music generated $ 1.1 billion in revenue from its mobile games last year, the whole PlayStation brand rakes in about $25 billion per year.
