One thing it’s been trying to push, even as far back as the PS4, is PS Tournaments on console – a kind of competitive environment where you can sign up, compete, and win prizes. To be clear, you won’t need to be a professional to participate – but you’ll need some serious chops to win.
And now the entire environment has rolled out on the PS5, with new features and an enhanced interface to boot. Beginning with FIFA 23, Guilty Gear Strive, and NBA 2K23, you’ll find various open competitions within each game’s Activity Cards.
